The Scarecrow of Romney Marsh, was produced as a three-part television miniseries by Walt Disney in 1963. It starred Patrick McGoohan of Danger Man/Secret Agent and The Prisoner fame in the title role and was directed by James Neilson. 
In World War II era Los Angeles, the manager of the Culver Hotel leaves his nephew in charge for a weekend. It chronicles the adventures of two dopey yet well-meaning teenage boys, Hank and Dean Venture; their emotionally insecure, ethically challenged super-scientist father Dr. Thaddeus "Rusty" Venture; the family bodyguard, secret agent Brock Samson; and the family's arch-nemesis, The Monarch.
